The Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
Solitude and defeat is not an option for those living with paralysis thanks to The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. They are the powerhouse providing crowds of people who will lend a helping hand and invite paralyzed individuals to join a community that thrives on hope and provides access to everything needed for a healthy, normal lifestyle. Team Reeve covers every hobby from biking, swimming, running, baking, and even happy hour fun (oh my!); providing all the resources needed for spirited, passionate people interested in raising awareness and funding.
They are not alone in their mission. As a member of the Paralysis Task Force, the Reeve Foundation joins an impressive group of over 52 organizations focused on gaining a better understanding of paralysis. With each day the force is only getting stronger. Those living with or caring for those with paralysis pin their location daily on a world-wide map (found at campaigntocureparalysis.org) that allows them to voice their presence and strength within their communities.
With a movement so influenced by the visionary brilliance of the late Christopher Reeve, the sky truly is the limit for available possibilities for paralyzed individuals and today’s care will, hopefully one day soon, lead to tomorrow’s cure.
