Children’s Health Fund is committed to providing health care to the nation’s most medically underserved children through: the development and support of innovative, comprehensive primary care programs, reducing the impact of public health crises on vulnerable children, and promoting the health and well-being of all children
WHAT THEY’RE ALL ABOUT
Small hands, large imaginations, and innocent faces are the characteristics of those The Children’s Health Fund (CHF) speaks for. CHF avidly believes if the voices of disadvantaged children are heard and if their basic healthcare needs are met, the nation as a whole will benefit. Who could argue with that? For the past 20 years Paul Simon has been the celebrity face carrying the torch and strongly advocating to policy makers and healthcare providers that children nationwide equally deserve a healthy life and basic medical care.
This top watched charity lives and breathes to carry its mission through. In 2011 alone CHF reported having established 25 programs in America’s most deprived neighborhoods (including my beloved LA), 3 million health interactions with kids and families (that’s huge!) and serving approximately 350,000 children to date. With their social channels and continued advocacy on the rise, this organization will only continue to do wondrous things!
