ARF saves dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters and brings people and animals together to enrich each others lives. ARF strives to create a world where every loving dog and cat has a home, where every lonely person has a companion animal, and where children learn to care.

Connection, connection, connection. Tony La Russa’s popular Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) offers a connection that’s shared between two lonely souls; a cat/dog and its new owner.  ARF reaches out to children who suffer from abuse as well as senior citizens to fulfill their need for  companionship. This well-rounded organization provides educational programs about pet ownership, supports surrounding and countywide organizations with the same rescuing mission, and offers extensive volunteer opportunities.

There are so many ways to be part of this team! ARF even has its very own thrift store where you can donate, volunteer and buy items all supporting the good cause. Join their growing facebook fan base (15,944 and growing strong) or check out their site to see the faces along with quick bio’s of those needing a home. People rescuing animals, animals rescuing people- that’s what ARF is all about.

Ways to get involved can be found here.
